Pupuke Birdsong Project - General

Pupuke Birdsong Project was established in 2019 with the goals to eradicate pest species, connect and engage communities in becoming kaitiaki, and enhance and restore the natural environment in the Takapuna North area (from Sunnynook in the north to Hauraki Corner in the south).

We are currently focusing on establishing five ecological halos: (1) Castor Bay Halo, (2) Milford Halo, (3) Smiths Bush East Halo, (4) Patuone Halo, and (5) Pupukemoana Halo. Please join the individual groups of these five halos if you are located in those areas, and join this general group if you are outside the halo areas.
