Maramataka and Kiore Research Project

We are a burgoening Maori Astronomy and Taiao School that will study Kiore behaviour and the Maramataka. This project is to study the Maramataka (Maori Lunar Calendar) and the Kiore (Rat) to determine if there is a connection to the phases of the moon and Kiore. We will be using the Ngati Mahanga Maramataka and Ngati Wairere Maramataka for this project.
